The Forté wireless telephone system allows maximum flexibility forcabin class aircraft. Onboard jet cabins with typical noise levels, the handset's large color display and backlit keypads make it very easy to use.
The system utilizes a base station that supports up to four (4) compact handsets. The base station can also be paired with a second EMS SkyConnect Iridium system to make two phone lines available to all wireless handsets on-board. Worldwide coverage using the Iridium satellite network meansno dead zones, handoff issues or dropped calls. No matter where in the world you are you will have continuous coverage at very affordable rates.
The handsets can be used as an intercom for communication between thecockpit and cabin. In addition, the wireless handsets can be used up to 300feet from the aircraft, allowing use on the ground. The lightweight cordlesshandsets provide 10 hours of continuous talk time, with 150 hours of standbytime. The handsets stow in charging cradles which are available in flush-mount(drink rail) or surface-mount (bulkhead) styles.
