The main functions and characteristics

The UVG video gateway series is designed for installation at remotely located sites such as parking lots, cellular base stations, international borders and along the perimeter fencing of airport terminals. It features high quality video streaming at low bitrates, low power consumptions and wireless video-over-IP mobile and cellular or Wi-Fi interfaces making it a powerful, wire-free security solution.

The UVG can transmit and record video fr om all camera-feeds simultaneously. Live and recorded video can be viewed on-site, with a closed-circuit TV screen, or remotely. With SerVision's advanced video compression, which delivers high-quality video at low bitrates - clear, smooth video can be accessed by virtually any remote device such as a PC, laptop or smart phone. Two-way live voice transmission enables remote users and those on-site to speak with one another in real-time.

The UVG is ideal for remote commercial locations or throughout a home – wh ere constant monitoring is required, but wired broadband is either unavailable or undesired. The platform provides real-time alerts from its integrated Video Motion Detection (VMD) to prevent unwanted intrusions. The UVG also supports the integration of external sensors - smoke detectors, light sensors, window or door sensors, etc. In the case of an alert, video recording of cameras located in the relevant areas of interest can automatically begin recording and send e-mail or SMS notifications to the desired personnel.
